How do I get started?
Call (888) 982-0222 or book online — we return every call within 24 hours, usually the same day, and schedule a specific appointment time so you won’t wait around.
How often should I get my chimney swept?
Gas and oil systems need a sweep once a year; wood-burning fireplaces in heavy use need one as often as quarterly. We’ll give you a personalized schedule after your first inspection.
Will there be any mess in my house?
No. We take the greatest care to ensure all soot and dust is contained — drop cloths, a HEPA vacuum, and a final walk-through on every job.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the system and the work it needs, so we inspect first and quote second — that’s how the quote stays accurate. Financing with 0% interest is available.
Why hire certified professionals?
Most insurance companies won’t cover chimney-fire claims unless the chimney was swept by trained professionals — and a professional visit doubles as a structural check of the whole system.
Is my fireplace really a fire hazard?
It can be. Every fire releases gases that condense into creosote — a combustible residue. When your chimney lining is coated in it, you run the risk of a house fire. Regular sweeping removes the hazard.
What do all the chimney terms mean?
The firebox is where the fire burns; the flue is the duct that vents smoke out (and where dangerous buildup collects); the damper is the plate that controls airflow; the cap keeps rain and animals out; and creosote is the combustible byproduct of burning wood that professional sweeps remove.
Do you send small children up the chimney?
No. (You’d be surprised how often we get asked.) Modern sweeps use rods, brushes, HEPA vacuums, and cameras — nobody climbs anything except a ladder.
