Chimney Siding Replacement

When chase siding goes past patching — warped runs, open seams, paint that won’t hold — re-cladding the chase resets the clock: new siding, checked sheathing, and a chimney tower that matches the house again instead of dragging it down.

Strip, verify, re-clad

We strip to sheathing, replace any soft panels (the previous leak always left a signature), wrap with weather barrier, and install new siding matched to the home — fiber cement for longevity, or the profile your HOA expects. Corners, trim, and kick-out flashing at the roofline get done properly because they’re where chase leaks start.

The 20-year difference

A re-sided chase with a stainless cover up top is effectively a new structure: fiber cement carries multi-decade warranties and doesn’t feed rot. If you’re re-siding the house itself soon, we’ll coordinate profiles so the chase doesn’t become the odd tower out.

Common Questions

Fiber cement vs wood for the chase?

Fiber cement, almost every time: it doesn’t rot, holds paint for 12–15 years, and shrugs off the sprinkler that hits the chase daily. Wood is for matching historic fabric.

Can you paint it to match my house exactly?

Yes — we match the existing body color, or prime-and-paint the chase as part of the job so it disappears into the elevation.
