Chimney Maintenance Plans
The cheapest chimney repair is the one that never becomes necessary. A maintenance plan puts your chimney on a calendar: one scheduled visit a year that inspects everything, sweeps when it’s due, and catches small problems while they’re still small.
What the yearly visit includes
A full Level 1 inspection, creosote measurement and a sweep when the buildup calls for it, cap and crown check, damper service, and a photo record year over year — so we can see change, not just condition. A crown crack that grew since last fall gets sealed for a fraction of what the same crack costs after two more winters.
Priority when it matters
Plan members book ahead of the October–December rush, when every chimney company in the Metroplex is buried. Your slot is reserved before the season starts — not six weeks into it.
The Chimney Visit
- Annual Level 1 inspection
- Sweep included when buildup requires it
- Cap, crown, and damper check
- Year-over-year photo record
- Priority scheduling before burn season
- Member pricing on any repair found
Common Questions
Is a plan worth it if I rarely use the fireplace?
Light use changes what we look for, not whether we look. Rain, heat cycles, and animals don’t care how often you burn — and an unused chimney is where nests go unnoticed longest.
Can I start a plan after a repair?
That’s the best time. The system is in known-good condition, and the plan keeps it there — with documentation that helps at resale.
